If you look at the history of this community, it goes back to the origination of the city of Naples FL. Isn’t that cool? You’re talking about the original platte. There are all kinds of history in that area of the city.
Coquina Sands started being developed in the 1950s. The first platte was approved in 1954. As you can tell, the landscape of Coquina Sands is very mature and has been around for quite some time. This is an established community in Naples, not a more recent development. You are going to find some beautiful homes in the area.
I took the liberty of checking out one of the listings, and the first one I came across was priced at 4.2 million dollars. Talk about a luxurious property. It looks like a tropical mansion, and it features over 5000 square feet. The location is on Banyan Road. The home is five bedrooms, five baths, and a den.
To be quite honest, you don’t pay 4.2 million dollars for most homes with five bedrooms. That tells you a little bit about this community in Naples. This is a very prestigious community. It makes me wonder if most of the homes in that area sell for that same amount. So guess what, I’m going to take a look at another listing.
The next listing I found is on Ixora Drive. While it is on an entirely different road, it is selling for 4 million dollars. It was built in 2006, and it has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. It is close to a favorite place of interest known as Lowdermilk Park. The home is a little under 5000 square feet.
While some more of the listings are in the millions, too, there are homes for less. I even see a two bedroom and two bathroom home for $285k. That is the cheapest listing I see on one site. There are some other listings for several hundred thousand dollars, too. The second cheapest listing is for $399k.
The last listing mentioned is on Gulf Shore Boulevard. That gives you an idea as to the location of this community, and it also tells you just how large Coquina Sands is, too. By the way, that property for $399k is a condominium unit on the 5th floor of a building. In other words, it appears the condos are the properties that fall below the $1m mark.
In cities where luxury oceanfront properties are located, you often see communities where there are cheaper properties and communities with more expensive properties. But Coquina Sands is just one large community, and it doesn’t appear that there are any more affordable properties there for the most part. You are going to have to be a high roller to invest in estate there. Are you prepared to move forward and look at listings?
The community of Coquina Sands isn’t the only luxurious residential development in Naples FL. It is one of the oldest and most well-established, and it’s one of the nicest, too. If you are still taking a look around at different communities on or near the beach, that’s great. Take your time, look at the listings, and see which properties fit your interests.
